What style of event is this?
Our second-annual event, the Fall Celebration is a fun-filled evening of networking and raising funds in support of Youth Villages Oregon (business casual dress suggested). During the social hour, grab food and drinks, meet other supporters of Youth Villages, and participate in our Golden Ticket Raffle and Wine Wall. Our short program will include a panel of young adults aging out of foster care, as well as a keynote youth speaker. This will be followed by a call to action with approachable ways you can support Youth Villages and stay connected to our work.

Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes, Irving Street Studio is a handicap accessible space and there are accessible parking spots conveniently located in the Irving Street Studio parking lot.

What’s the parking situation?
Parking is available for free in the Irving Street Studio lot beginning at 5pm. The venue is located in the Pearl District and there is plenty of paid street parking (through 7pm) available nearby as well.
 
Should I come hungry?
Yes! We are serving heavy appetizers (via Elephants Deli) and there will be plenty of food options. We will do our best to have a variety of options available for people with different food allergy needs, but if you have specific food requirements we should be aware of, please let us know.
 
Will childcare be provided? 
This is a 21+ event only. We kindly ask you to leave your children at home.

What is LifeSet?
LifeSet is an individualized, evidence-informed model that pairs a highly trained specialist with a young person to help identify and accomplish goals. Started in 1999, LifeSet has helped more than 20,000 young people become successful adults across the country. In a randomized trial, LifeSet showed positive impacts in many areas of participants’ lives, including reduced homelessness, increased economic well-being and better mental health. In Oregon, we serve up to 40 youth annually in LifeSet.
