The Sound is a new Youth Villages initiative that weaves music into the fabric of all we do for the youth we serve and our staff. Our goal is two-fold. We look to enhance our residential and community-based programs by integrating music into the treatment plans and activities for the youth we serve, while also using music to enrich the workplace. We’re seeking community partners to help The Sound provide new ways to incorporate music into Youth Villages’ programs. Collaborating with local music organizations expands our reach and gives youth access to live performances, exposure to instruments, recording studio visits, workshops and field trips.

Ways to get involved with The Sound:

- Lead musical activities or performances

- Offer field trip experiences

- Teach a music lesson

- Host youth in your studio

- Support our mission with a donation of musical instruments or monetary gifts
