What is Youth Villages?
Youth Villages is a national leader in children’s mental and behavioral health, committed to building strong families, delivering effective services and significantly improving outcomes for children, families and young people involved in child welfare and juvenile justice systems across the country. Youth Villages has been recognized by the Harvard Business School and U.S. News & World Report and was identified by The White House as one of the nation’s most promising results-oriented nonprofit organizations. In Massachusetts, we’ve served over 10,000 youth and families over the last 15 years.

What is the Youth Villages Leadership Council?
The Youth Villages Leadership Council is a group of professional leaders in the Greater Boston area dedicated to helping young people and families live successfully. Through networking, philanthropy, and community outreach, the Leadership Council works to drive the vision and mission of Youth Villages while creating lasting and powerful change in our communities.
Leadership Council members support Youth Villages by:
Developing new networking and marketing tools to aid and expand Youth Villages’ strategic initiatives and development efforts
Building awareness and support for Youth Villages, including identifying and cultivating new corporate and community partners and sponsors
Engaging actively with Youth Villages programs and initiatives through volunteer, fundraising, and mentorship opportunities
Recruiting new members to the Leadership Council and increasing engagement among Boston professionals who are service-driven and mission-focused thought leaders

What is LifeSet?
LifeSet is an individualized, evidence-based model that pairs a highly trained specialist with a young person to help identify and accomplish goals. LifeSet is the bridge to successful adulthood and shows positive impacts in many areas of participants’ lives, including reduced homelessness, increased economic well-being and better mental health.

What is Intercept?
Intercept is an evidence based, trauma-informed program with 24/7 on-call service. Specialists work to stabilize families in their current home or work to get them to a safe home environment.
