Every child deserves a great education. They’re counting on heroes like you for that opportunity. A new backpack full of school supplies truly can have a profound impact on a child’s learning experience. You can be a Youth Villages Backpack Hero by donating backpacks filled with school supplies or making a financial contribution to support a child in your community.

Here's how it works

Purchase school supplies and backpacks to help a Youth Villages student start the school year off successfully! Shop in person and drop-off at our workshop, by using this Amazon Wish List link or make a $75 donation and Youth Villages will do the shopping for you.

• NEW backpacks for any age
• (K-college) – male, female, gender-neutral
• 3-ring binders (1”)
• Composition books
• 2-pocket folders
• Pencils/erasers
• Pencil pouches
• Red/blue/black pens
• Wide-ruled/college-ruled paper
• Graph paper
• Colored pencils
• Markers
• Rulers/protractors*
• Highlighters
• Construction paper (small packs)
• Glue sticks (no liquid glue)
• Basic/scientific calculators

*Youth Villages cannot accept spiral notebooks, pencil sharpeners, scissors, compasses or metal rulers and protractors.
