Every child deserves a great education. They’re counting on heroes like you for that opportunity. A new backpack full of school supplies truly can have a profound impact on a child’s learning experience. You can be a Youth Villages Backpack Hero by donating backpacks filled with school supplies or making a financial contribution to support a child in your community.

Once again, a very generous donor has offered a challenge grant to match all monetary donations up to $25,000 made towards Backpack Heroes. These donations will help purchase laptops for the youth who will be starting college this fall. Please consider making a monetary contribution and double your donation to Backpack Heroes. Make a donation and Youth Villages will do the shopping for you.

Start a Fundraiser:

Start your own fundraising page! By clicking the fundraise button you can start your own campaign with friends, family, or co-workers to raise critical funds for kids in your community. OR include your own children and their classmates to get them motivated and inspire them to have an impact on their own community and school. It is a great way to give back and encourage others to become a Backpack Hero, too!

$100 funds a tablet or TI84 graphing calculator for a high school or college student
$250 funds a family with new backpacks and school supplies
$500 funds tools and supplies for a youth attending trade school

$1,500 funds a laptop with a case and Office suite
